Not until you understand that guilt is simply an accusation by a spirit over an occasion or a past event, in order to legislate, you may forever think is natural.

In neuroscience, cognitive scientist and neurologist will tell that the body, soul and spirit are interwoven, in a section called the human mind. I can tell you that all spirit would gain access into the mind by default if they could have their ways in but the good news is that; no two different spirit can rule or dominate the body at the time, two different spirit I mean is light and darkness, unless you give access to a particular spirit to take domicile. (Philippians 2:5, Philemon 1:14)
So, guilt is nothing less than the activity of a spirit, either by your human spirit, Holy Spirit or a satanic spirit but in summary, a spirit must be involve.

FORGIVENESST
Take a close look at this word forgiveness and let’s draw out premises that can help us have a safe landing with a valid conclusion.

Satan by default is an accuser of God’s children and can never forgive you but always seek room to even accuse you of what has been forgiven already. He does this by default because he felt, that was the same thing God did to him after he rebelled. Sin committed in eternity cannot be forgiven because they are already judged and condemned; this is the singular reason why there is no room for forgiveness, confession and repentance for Satan. This is the position of the accuser but to humanity, there is a blood of the new covenant that speaks better things than the blood of any beast, I’m talking about the redemptive blood of Jesus Christ that makes free to become free indeed. (John 8:36)

Let me leave with you a foundational phrase which states; the secret of anything in life is the consciousness of the same.

Caution:
Satanic spirit will never forgive you but to always accuse you.

The spirit of God “Holy spirit” has forgiven you at the point where you acknowledge your sin, confess and forsake it.

Your human spirit when not tamed with this understanding, can still dialogue with the satanic spirit and keep reminding you of your guilt.
